did anyone download it? holy shit its incredible. edit-reaction to first song... holy shit amazing. wtf just happened
Reaction to every EITS song = "HOLYFUCKTHATSAWESOME" Can't say I'd expect anything less. I haven't followed them much recently, and am excited to check out this new album! Let me know how the whole thing is! The Rescue is easily my favorite album of theirs.
After listening to the album without any interruption I am amazed. Last night I blazed a bit and started off this experience peacefully. The opening song was very refreshing and uplifting. Very powerful. I could only smile. The album is very well constructed with great transitions. Postcards from 1952 is beautiful. I can't decide what my favorite song is. The closer is amazing as you hear a really creepy conversation going on in the background from beginning to end. The closer does have it's epic moments but I wish they could rock out the last two minutes. It is different though as you hear that creepy conversation in the end. It gives you a really creepy feel. Overall this album easily is an 8.5 out of 10 at minimum so far. Everyone needs to listen to this and find a way to support the band. They really deserve it. Anyone else here going to see them at radio city next month?
postcard from 1952 was kind of like that...but i know what you mean. nothing beats your hand in mine.
This one sounds more loopy. I love The Earth is... but this is only my second album I've heard from explosions in the sky. I believe you guys are witnessing a budding relationship Both are great records for sure. You really can't go wrong with either.
