Expiration of cannabutter??

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Space_Ghost, Feb 2, 2011.

  1. I have a shitload (like 20 mini-dishes) of extra cannabutter from my brothers friend who made them. Theyve been untouched and refrigerated for likee.. close to 2 months, I want to know if you guys think its safe to spread it onto cornbread ! or do i also need to heat the butter first..?

  2. Smell it. Bad dairy is easy to tell. And ya you'll probably wanna heat it in order to spread it.

  3. it just smells like it did when it was made, a dank smell. i grabbed one that looked fine, ima just leave it out before putting it on bread. it will still work? im inexperienced with edibles :p

  4. I make butter every 2 weeks. Sometimes I end up with extra, which I save. I have saved butter for over a month and it was fine, If it doesn't smell bad then you should be good to go.
