    I am pretty new to smoking and was wondering if weed can go bad or spoil. If so how long does it stay good for?

    yeah weed can mold but it takes a while to happen just put the pot in a air tight cool place and youll be good

    Buds will not mold unless they have reason to. If they were kept in extremely high humidity or were not dried+cured properly, they may end up molding. You don't want the bud to dry out all the way either. Keep it in something airtight such as a mason jar with a rubber seal. You also want there to be more bud than empty space in whatever you're keeping it in. Also be sure to keep it dark as well as cool if you want the quality to last. Don't agitate the buds too much.

    so if the container was airtight could it last for like 4 or 5 months in there with no problems?

    Keep it in a cool, dark place as well.
