Do you use a separate exhaust for both hood and cab or do you use your hood or open ended cool tube as exhaust? Curious about smaller grows aswell, as 2 exhausts could take up some valuable space!
It can be done either way, but 2 is always better than one. If I was running a single fan for both my light and filter I'd want a 6" for 400w and under, 8" for 600w and up. That's my preference, I've seen a lot of people have temp problems with a 600w and a 6" fan doing double duty, and some who don't. Better safe than sorry, lol.
Thats exactly the answer I needed Thanks. Its going to be a 2 plant grow, one always in veg one always flowering. He has a 6" fan already and is ordering the hps today. Im sure it will be 400w or less as its just 1 plant. If you say some keep ok temps that way I think its worth a shot. Save space and cost a tad less
