exhaust fan questions for build!

  1. hello everyone, here are my questions

im looking at exhaust fans for my project 48"x31"x18" stealth dresser

ive been considering this project with a Panasonic whisper fan

Panasonic Whisper Fan Carbon Scrubber Tutorial: Quietest most efficient fan ever! - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

but his project is with a 80 cfm.

my question... if im going with a LED/CFL setup in a space of the aforementioned dimensions, will 80cfm through a carbon scrubber be fine...

OR should I go more for 110-150 cfm

OOORRR should i disregard this panasonic series for something that is equally quiet or more so?

  2. Rule of thumb is that your fan's rating should be 3 times higher than that of your grow space. Your grow space is slightly more than 15 cubic feet. A fan rated at 80CFM should be fine. :)

  3. thanks for the help!

i was just considering the sunleaves windtunnel 4" 200cfm

should i now consider that overkill or would it be a smart choice still?

  4. Lotta folk would say there's no such thing as overkill when it comes to ventilation.:)

  5. ive heard that too.

all things considered... the panasonic requires some diy'ing (including wiring, which im not comfortable doing... being neurotic)

the sunleaves comes pre wired, is quiet, is more powerful, same price, and can connect easily to a can carbon filter

thanks man for all your help!
