  1. Ex-DEA chiefs blast Holder on pot stance
\n“”(CNN) -A group of former top counternarcotics officials are taking on Attorney General Eric Holder over the Justice Department's decision to soften its stance on marijuana legalization.
Nine former administrators of the Drug Enforcement Administration wrote Holder to criticize the department's decision not to challenge laws in Colorado and Washington state, which are allowing legal recreational use of marijuana after voter-approved ballot measures. More than two dozen other states and the District of Columbia allow medicinal use of marijuana.”" ‘snip'
\n\nI would venture to guess the emotion they are feeling is worry rather than anger since a majority of them are vested in businesses that lose money if marijuana is legalized and all of them are guilty of blocking medical research on the most therapeutic plant in nature.

  2. Or disbelief that one of their own could do such a thing.

  3. Like any other BIG issue in the US, once the smoke clears people forget and move on to the next big story. Obama has signaled for the next 3 years he will allow these 2 states to continue on. Let the complainers complain, let the cheering section cheer. We have 3 years until the next president either continues on this path, or reverses it. I am guessing by the 2016 election the will of the people will be loud and clear regarding the direction MJ is taking...one way or the other.

  4.
To be honest im still in disbelief .

Watching all this unfold day after day with new information and news every day since it was legalized recreationally .

  5. At the very least the media attention is a good thing. The more exposure people have to facts the less likely they oppose legalization.

  6. The DEA is all butt-hurt about it, because they know it's gonna be fine and other states will follow suit.

  7. they're taking this personal

  8. I hope the next president doesn't try to fuck us either, and worry about the important issues, not the "moral" fabric of American and other meaningless bullshit.

  9. Sure they did, after all they have lobbyists to support and corruption to maintain.
