  3. I picked up Marijuana Buds for Less by SeeMoreBuds. It has great pictures and is a day by day grow with clones and a bean through harvest.

Also grabbed the new Dan Brown novel for my upcoming flight to the great white north.

A Short History of Nearly Everything by: Bill Bryson,
The Hero with One Thousand Faces by: Joseph Campbell.

Current read: The Undiscovered Self by: C.G. Jung.

  5. I usually just grab a tab or two...

  6. i went to barnesandnoble.com to look at the Dan Brown novel, and it was right there on the front page, lol

but i prefer books about things that happened, mainly biographies, it kinda sucks but i just cant get interested in anything else

  7. the Bill Bryson one sounds VERY promising.

so does the Joseph Campbell one.

aaaand the C.G. Jung one looks pretty good too.

    very nice taste.:hello:

anyone ever heard of a book called "Dharma Punx" by Noah Levine??

awesome book, should really check it out

  8. The Dark Tower series from steven King. 7 books though and i think 2 or 3 of them are over 1k pages. Defiantly his best work, It is like a culmination of his life work. Defiantly not in the horror genre either.

Take Lord of the Rings, King Aurthur, Land of the Dead, 13 Samurai, Clint Eastwood, The boy from the sixth sense, The white main character junkie from Requiem for a Dream, A women version of malcom x(kind of) who is a schizophrenic. And then you put it in a western theme in America, but America is about the size of the entire world. And there is other dimensionsish.

I haven't finished it all yet myself I am on book 5 but that is as accurate as I can get. It is deffinatly and epic story for sure. It is pretty trippy too. especially in the second book the drawing of the three. That book blew my mind when I read it.

  9. lol, sounds pretty intense, thats alot of words though

yah, 3712 pages in the series...intense..

  10. Ive read most of Bill Bryson's stuff, he's hilarious.
Are you a fan of David McCullough?

  11. dont know very many authors, all ive really read so far is biographies, i had a book by some russian author, i cant remember his name but he was a VERY descriptive writer, had one of his books with a bunch of short stories, in one this kid was turning into a spider, took like 1 page front and back just to describe all the minor details of his transformation, hes a very intense writer.

  12. Kafka. That's pretty deep stuff for a light reader! There are books about books about understanding him

  13. haha, yeah it was when i used to read alot, when i was 15 or 16..but now i have no clue where it is :(

it was called "Metamorphosis and Other Stories"

  14. It's not a biography, but I recently picked up this trilogy while I was traveling overseas.

Brent Weeks : The Night Angel Trilogy
Book 1 - The Way Of Shadows
    Book 2 - Shadow's Edge
Book 3 - Beyond The Shadows

All three are pretty damn good books in themselves, but it helps to read them in order to understand what's going on with the characters.
