Ever been starstruck?

  1. Yesterday at the mall, some NFL Players (Chiefs) went to the mall after football practice and I wanted to go up and talk to them but I froze up. I felt like a 13 year old girl in front of Justin Bieber.

Is there any scientific reasoning behind this? Has anyone else had similar experiences?

  2. Yup, when I met Kim Kardashian. I live in LA so it happens alot.

  3. I was at a music awards show (MMVA) back in 2008 and Lady GaGa was walking right past the barricades as she was getting off the stage and stared right at me and touched my face. That's a highlight for me.

Yup. When Alexa Vega and the guy that screenwrote Napoleon Dynamite came to Hot Springs, SD to give us an advanced screening of their new movie Broken Hill. Don't know if it ever got released... But I do know he proposed to her in the alley next to the theater. Not lying either. Google that shit.

Edit: forgot to put that I'm going to be related by marriage to the lead singer of Caroline's Spine

  5. I do usually when im talking to my favorite band at a show or something.

  6. I met Colin farrell outside mcdonalds in dun laoghaire
    wasn't exactly starstruck though haha

  7. Pics or it didnt happen.

  8. Happens all the time. Better when you're high because then it's just a "fuck it" situation and you have to go up to them!

  9. Right.

  10. yeah when i met justin bieber

  11. i guess when i met chris benoit. I used to work at a marriott in buffalo years ago, and we had wrestlers and football players all that good shit staying at our hotel. He was my favorite wrestler, so i was just kinda frozen. I still came up to him and just told him i loved his work and shook his hand. His wife and his son were with him

Imagine how i reacted when i read about him dying, then finding out he killed his wife, his son and then took his own life. Loved the guy for what he did in the ring, unfortunately he took a giant shit on any legacy he might've left behind by doing what he did

Ric Flair was another one. He was just walking around the hotel at 2 am drinking coffee. I said hi, didn't want to act like i was about to shit my pants and i felt like he wouldn't want anything to do with a fan anyway. Boy was i wrong. I talked to this guy for like an hour. Fucking nice nice guy. I asked him for his autograph afterwards, and told him how scared i was to talke to him. He went to his room, got me one of his photos and signed it. Awesome guy. Just shocks me that someone who's been such a superstar for 30+ yrs is still nice enough to stop and talk to some random hotel employee and give him a signed picture.

  13. I used to live in the same neighborhood as Tony Richardson (cool dude) and Trent Green (Douchebag.) Trent would give out his football card out every Halloween, I was like "WTF DUDE!!?? GIVE ME A KING-SIZED CANDY BAR YOU RICH BITCH, I DON'T WANT YOUR SHITTY STATS CARD!"
Why would you be starstruck by them, they suck so much ass anyway, then again I'm just a chief hater :confused_2:

But i saw this guy one time:

And i was all like "wow." -___-

  14. Chris Beniot lost his mind when he did that, it wasnt really his fauly and I hear Ric Flair is a douche so I'm surprised.

  15. First of all, your parents must be rich to live in the same neighborhood as NFL Players.

Second of all, I'm a scrawny little college kid, barely 6 ft and these NFL Guys are huge. And idk its just weird. Seeing someone on TV and then seeing them right in front of me LOL.

  16. haha i getya. My uncle is a flight attendant, so he sees celebs on the regular. He's met Peyton Manning, reggie bush, justin timberlake, steve nash etc...

And yeah it was a nice neighborhood, I miss it. But by no means did they live in masions, they lived modestly. I used to play tackle football with Trent's sons and I would tackle the shit out of them just because I hated their father lol I was a pretty mean kid i made them a cry a few times :devious:

My aunt's friend used tolive next to Kurt Warner and would go to his house for dinner sometimes. From what I've heard, he's a really cool dude.

I would shit bricks if i ever met ricky willams though

I wanna smoke weed with that dude soo bad lol :smoke:

  17. I met Warren Haynes outside a Wendy's in Burlington VT after a show. I just went up to him and explained that I was a fan and he was just like "Aw thanks man" and we talked for a minute and he signed a Gov't Mule shirt I'd bought. He was pretty cool about it, its kinda awkward walking up to celebrities you've never met or who'd have no reason to know you and introduce yourself.

I met Jello Biafra too but he was a little bit of an asshole and I met Derek Jeter but I'm a Mets fan. Still got his autograph though, he was pretty cool.

  18. I was at the drake ain an elevator with johnny knoxville one time, he pulled out some gum and i asked him for a stick and he said ye.

  19. they are just people :confused_2:

  20. I met Bubba Watson and Aaron Baddeley at a charity golf tournament. That was pretty cool for me, since I love golf

Plus i'm left handed, just like Bubba :D I wasn't starstruck, we just talked about golf. They were both very down to earth dudes

This is Bubba, he's so badass that he uses a steel tipped pink shaft
