Hi every one, I am into about my 3rd week of this economics class im taking in my senior year and we recieved a choice of essay topics to write about (1k words) and one of them was: In spite of the best efforts of law enforcement agencies, the illegal drug market is so efficient that the street price of drugs is actually falling while illegal drug usage imposes high costs on the economy. Would making drugs freely available to proven addicts through clinics be a more effective method of dealing with the drug problem? What do you guys think?
haha the price of anything never falls unless the demand falls and the demand for some good dank NEVER falls but i think you have a good chance to make some good points on why bud should be legal, smoke a fat one, and run with it
exactly what im about to do right now... check out this site i found, seemed to have some good ideas. http://www.idpi.us/dpr/writings/writings_offdrugs.htm Step 1: smoke a fat one.... done Step 2: write the paper... This will be fun
Just a thought, why not argue against both the current laws and "making it available for addicts". No one should be classified an addict just cause he/she smokes a little weed, and It would not reduce the black market(I don't know about the rest of the smokers here but I'm not about register as an addict just to get my reefer) gov's already knows more than they need to. Also, how would a pot smoker prove he's an addict when MJ is not a narcotic and is not physically addicting.
