"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Epidiolex (cannabidiol) oral solution, the first prescription pharmaceutical formulation of highly-purified, marijuana plant-derived cannabidiol (CBD) for the treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome or Dravet syndrome in patients two years of age or older.

Epidiolex was added to schedule V of the Controlled Substances Act in September 2018."

Hopefully this is just the beginning of approved medical conditions. I for one would love to see my insurance company pay for CBD. I'll ask my doctor and see what happens.
