I think i'm going to go for an envirolite for my first grow as they seem like the cheapest option considering electricity costs (apparently I could be paying up to £20 a week for an HPS!) and their supposed claim that they're far more efficient and long lasting than normal CFL's or HPS' My question is, which envirolite would be sufficient enough to sustain 3 plants (taking into consideration that there's a good chance that only 1 or 2 will actually be female) 125W, 200W or 250W? OR is there a cheaper option??? If so, could you list a few prices (in dollars is fine, I can convert them ) Also, is a lamp reflector a necessity or does it not really make a difference? Look forward to reading some responses. -WGH-
Read the stickies here written by experienced growers, not advertising hype. Envirolites are useless incandescent lamps.
