Entire plant yellowing

  1. 15F7FFEA-F7CA-40B6-A2C3-E802C11072C3.jpeg hey guys, I have a few outside plants in 15 gallon fabric pots. 2 of the plants have turned yellow in the last 3 weeks. The entire plant is yellowing, see picture of the yellow plant next to a normal green plant.
The plants are gettin water from my koi pond that has a ph of 7.8-8. But the soil ph is 6.2, I’ve tested the yellow plant a few times. Besides the koi water I’m also using bio-live by down to earth that’s 5-4-2. I just sprinkle some on top every other watering. Any ideas why they are yellowing?

  2. In the picture, the plant on the right and upper middle are the ones I’m concerned with.

  3. Are they all the same strain?

  4. Yes those 3 in the picture are all the same strain.

  5. I wouldnt worry until leaves fall off or crumble into dust. They look pretty healthy. Do you spray insecticide? Could ne burning of the leaf. From the oil and sun. Or else water issue. Soil issue etc

  8. I use buckets, I just bought some ph down so I’ll try to lower it from the buckets first then maybe see if I can get the pond lower. My tap water is over 9.

  9. Maybe a nutrient lock out from pH or mag deficiency.
Try adding some Epsom salt to your soil.
Just sprinkle a small handful on the soil and water it in.
Epsom salt acts like a buffer for pH and has magnesium. It will take about a week to show improvement. One application usually does the trick. No noticable improvement after a week then this wasn't your problem and no need to re-apply.
