Enough weed for edibles?

Discussion in 'Cannabis & Weed Edibles: Cooking & Recipes' started by KingGhidora, Feb 19, 2010.

  1. hey I have a bit of keef in my grinder and I was wondering how much bud you need to make edibles. Like if i fried up a burger with the keef would it work? How do i cook with it all? confused

  2. with regular bud, usually about .5g+ should be good, but you dont need as much with kief obviously. But frying a burger with kief wouldnt really work the way you may intend to. THC needs to be extracted, so you would have to let it sit in a fat, oil, or alcohol, ect first. You can speed up this process by adding heat. Why dont you take a look at this thread:

  3. Yeah, I wouldn't do a burger. Stick to baked goods and sauces.

  4. make firecrackers all you need is about .5 per cracker

  5. true from my experience^^

also, just got a question as a daily+ toker but only occasional firecracker-eater. how much would you consider stems to weed as far as edibles go (like, for every g of stems, count is as .3 of bud?) obvious this is relative to the bud and the stems but anybody got a general conversion they use?

  6. I would not want to eat stem just save it up for hash
