i got a 3 foot long by 3 foot high and 9 inches deep cab to grow in. Ive got four 27 watt day light CFL's which have 1400 lumens each. and 2 30 watt bright white bulbs. once they go to flower ill replace the four day light with 4 soft whites for flowering. I plan to have 4 plants maximum in the cab. Enough lighting or should i rig up more?
100watts for first plant and 50w for additional plants.... so for 4plants you need minimum 250w ideally 400w..
a minimum for the whole cycle right? would veging for 2 or 3 weeks with the 160 watts im using being just as efficient as 400? and then adding more lights as the plants get a little bigger? i feel like running 8 lights on some seedlings is overkill.
If you can get rid of the heat add as many lights as you can. The girls will reward you by producing more bud. You will be glad that you did.
