It's been over 2 years but finally got another run going. This is Cherry Bomb by Bombseeds in a soil set up.

2 girls in old, well established soil with a few toppings of EWC periodically. Rice hull mulch. Blumats for watering, although I didn't put them in until flower.

I didn't do shit for this grow, I just let nature run its course. I checked on them periodically. I didn't even top or train them whatsoever. So low maintenance which I love.

I think I've got about a week and a half left. They aren't super stinky but a very nice aroma nonetheless.

Really liking the plant on the right which is more "leggy" , was a faster plant in veg, and has bigger buds in flower than the one on the left. Good light penetration. Both plants have really nice nug meat going on.

I have really enjoyed this strain and the natural fade looks awesome, I think. Wanted to share. Happy growing.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. Hey my dude quick question are you a Organic? If so, how do you top dress with the blu mats?? Thanks man

  3. This looks absolutely amazing growmie!! What strain is that? You said you have well-established soil I got some coast of Maine Stonington mixed with raised bed mix 50-50 ratio. Got the necessary amendments the top dress. I’m tired of using foxfarms or something synthetic. How did those blumats work out? Might be perfect for me if I can find a way to do it while top dressing… don’t know how they work exactly

  4. Hey man...good question. So yeah, normally with the Blumats, top dressing is a little tricky.

For this run, I mentioned I didn't put them in until flower; mid-flower actually, so it happened to be after my last top dress and therefore wasn't a problem.

In the past with other runs though, I've just worked around the Blumat carrots and hand-water in the top dress making sure that no EWC or mulch get too high and interferes with the function of the Blumat cap and valve. I've also previously removed the Blumat altogether for a top dress and reset them but that's a pain.

  5. Hey - so, this is Cherry Bomb by Bombseeds. I've never grown it before. I've had a seed pack from them hanging around for years so decided to pop them.

I'm technically not organic but I don't use bottled nutes. I do use dry, organic fertilizer from Dr. Earth when I top dress with EWC.

Blumat is awesome. I work a lot and travel. Those blumats in a soil grow to me just make for a super easy grow. I used to put so much time in, hand watering, checking pH, trying to dial in bottled nutes, flushing, checking on the plants constantly, etc. This grow on the other hand I had almost forgotten about a few times. Probably only spent 15-30 minutes per week, if that. For me and my lifestyle, it's the way to go.

  7. Dude, yes that’s why I’m going organic. It’s pretty much just water and soil and top dressing amendments. Take care of everything. It’s kind of like the same thing as synthetics but you don’t have to monitor so much I feel. Anyway, good luck bro. I’ll post more pictures of my headband 99 x Cinderella 99 when it gets a little bigger.
