I am a 2nd year mechanical engineering student-pothead. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with both engineering and weed, and if this will fuck me up in my career.
As long as you apply yourself to school as best you can, then smoking pot will not fuck you up. Just dont let it get in the way of school.
thats tough. I have a good buddy at Georgia Tech studying to be a civil engineer, but he never touches the ganj, I personally think it wouldnt hurt to smoke only in moderation. Engineering is about solving problems, and i know ive solved some problems high that i never even though about how to solve when i was sober. I guess the new perspectives you get on things being high might actually help. Good luck with your studies.
