Endorphins

  1. I have been studying endorphins (chemically similar to morphine?). Endorphins are very interesting and I have been studying people during what I perceive to be strong endorphin activity during situations of strong positive feelings. I notice people to become more relaxed after eating eating a nice meal or enjoying a relaxing bath or shower. Well I bring this up because wouldn't it be awesome if we could train ourselves to release endorphins at any time we wanted?.

I believe I can to a small degree. If enter a daydream state I can recall positive experiences and feel a small relaxed high that I believe to be an increased level of endorphins or a release of them.

Maybe I'm nuts or something.... I do actually weird people say.

    Anyone else?

The music feeling is actually the result of dopamine being released. Like when a really badass part of the song hits. It's a crazy fucking feeling.

  8. yeah, just jerk off OP

  9. I release endorphin everyday by running my ass off until I surpass my daily goal.

  10. Don't we release Dopamine after eating, not endorphines? Endorphines are created from stressful situations, like exercising?

The word endorphin came from endogeneous and -orphine meaning "the bodys' painkiller".
Endorphins have many functions in the body but I think the stockpile is for emergencies mainly.

I think the endorphins are being relaxed because the music relaxes you
