End of a tough day

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by amadues, Jan 12, 2010.

  1. Blah, I've had a tough day today. I found out my mom might have throat cancer, girl issues, school and grades. I'm about to take a shower, smoke a bowl, and listen to some Nirvana. How do you guys end a tough day?

  2. my apologies amadues for your troubles. especially with your mother, hopefully she can fight hard and beat it.

at the end of a tough day for me, i'll usually toke up a bit, and write down whats got me down. that way i feel like once its written down i can let go of it, ya know. then i can go to sleep carefree and wake up with that weight off of my shoulders.

  3. Sorry to hear about your mom. My mother passed away from breast cancer a little over a year ago :( I wished FL had MMJ while she was here so she could have gotten a card and we could have spent her last 2 years together in the clouds :bongin: I end my days with a fat bong bowl normally. Best of luck to you and your mom, if you live in a MMJ state I would highly recommend to her!

  4. You don't have to recommend it at all lol, she's been at it for over 20 years. xD Thanks for the care GC members. I love relaxing with a nice bowl after a long day, just feeling yourself melt.

  5. real sorry about your mom i cant even imagine how i would react, keep your head up and hope for the best. i agree that smoking a nice j or bowl definately helps take a load off and work all the stress out, then sit back and watch your favorite movie, play some video games, or listen to music. once again sorry about your mom man best of luck to you and your family

  6. i drink a lot and then smoke some weed

  7. smoke a bowl, skate till i drop, then smoke a shit ton more. watch some funny movies, relax with some friends and females.

  8. smoke a couple of bowls. if its good shit? compose some music :smoking:

  9. Hey man, sorry to hear about your mom. I can kind of relate to what your going through because my dad was just diagnosed with prostate cancer recently.

I sincerely wish you, your mom, and your family the best.

This bowl's for your mom and my dad.:bongin:

  10. call some friends and go hang out with them, it will help to keep your mind off things. if not that just watch a show or listen to music that makes you feel at home. (I watch seinfeld, the simpsons, and friends to help me feel at home since I used to watch those shows with my parents alot.) And I sort of feel your pain... My mom doesn't have anything terribly bad yet (crohns disease) but she has been smoking for almost 40 years and I constantly wait for a bad phonecall about her health. I really worry about her health sometimes over my grandparents.

  11. i know how it is man, my mother has been battling stage 4 cancer of the liver and lung for a year

  12. Sorry to hear about your mom, amadues...I hope they caught it early. As cliché as it sounds, you just have to be there for her. Keep us posted. (No pun intended.)

I like to wind down by chilling on a bowl and just playing guitar quietly. Sometimes it's hard to transition from the pace of the day into evening mode, but that does the trick every time.

  13. end it the same way usually...tho i usually smoke, then chill, then shower, then smoke then chill...

    good luck
