Employer Hair Follicle Drug Test Cut Off Levels

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by ssteven, May 11, 2011.

  1. I was wondering if anyone could share their experience with hair follicle tests for a preemployment drug test. I'm curious what people have experienced as their cut off level which they could be under and still "pass" the test (in pg/mg).

  2. Think hair test is the worst as it shows through the whole length of hair. Even if you not smoked for ages it could still show up. Best bet is to stop smoking and shave your head!

  3. They are only supposed to test the last 90 days. I have quit since 90 days, but I am just very curious as to what the cut off level employers use.

  4. Someone else? I took a home test a couple weeks ago and I was at 0.92pg/mg, which was between the .3 and 1pg/mg cut off levels for the home test. I had a little longer hair (still like 1.5 inches) and I cut it shorter and Ive been clean for over 90 days. I'm just wondering what the cut off levels employers use actually are.
