I've seen a lot of posts lately with people asking if certain companies drug test or not. Let's get a big thread going where everyone tells of there past employers and if they required drug testing. I'll start: Pizza Hut: I started working at Pizza Hut in November 2009 and they did not drug test. (duh, its a pizza place!) Construction: I worked as a laborer/carpenter the summer of 2009 and did not get drug tested, but this probably depends on the policy of the company owner. BUT a coworker of mine got hurt and went to the hospital and was drug tested there.
Best Buy tests. I'm not sure of any restaurant that does drug test, either. Regal Cinemas does not drug test. (in my case, at least)
all municipalities ive worked at basically any trades ive worked in. But like no canadian companies drug test and i dont think you can be fired if you fail anyways.
Acer-gateway doesn't drug test. bars don't drug test I dunno about fast food though. I think gas stations do around here. If i were an employer I would tell them in the interview "I don't care if you smoke weed, roll ex, or whatever, but don't do it before you come to work, do it at night on your leisure time" simply for business reasons of looking good .
Hell, I used to work for the Illinois Secretary of State (drivers facility) and they didn't drug test. Surprised the hell out of me.
