Eminem was at the peak of his powers with his 2002 LP; he became a parody of himself with every subsequent album; I still think he's really talented but he isn't using basic avant or inventiveness to really churn some flavour into mainstream hip-hops bland descent into parody of the entire genre.

eminem has some good songs but in general he is pretty over rated. Plus i don't like the direction he has gone with his new music, kind of pop sounding.

There's not one bad song on either CD. Eminem to me seems to rap more about life in general, its problems and it's glory's. My guess is people like all the bullshit rap
eminem is good, just not great. he's a really great story teller and conveys his feelings well but he's definitely not the best lyricist out there. i like his attitude and his honesty, i feel like he has a connection with his fans and makes music to be true to himself. YES he does make silly songs so that his cds will have like one really big single, but it shows his humor and then usually the rest of the songs on the disk are pretty legit and well written.
Infinite, slim shady LP, MM LP, and a few songs off his next album were alright. I really was not into him when relapse came out. Big disappointment for me. I thought recovery was even worse. Just my opinion.
