  2. We need more details about your Grow Op. Your pix are too blurry to see even if you are using soil or hydro. How do you know they are female already? You said they were your own strain?

What lights are you using and lighting schedule?
    How close are the lights?
    How old are the plants?
    Are you using soil/hydro?
    Watering schedule if soil grow?
    Nutes/Fertilizers used if any?
What kind of growbox (sealed/ventilated)/environment (Temp/humidity)?

From those pix, they look like they are getting burned. Those pix are too blurry to tell though.

  3. im growing in pots in soil and i put them outdoors in the day...theyre about 3 weeks old..they should have grown alot more than this...also i know theyre fems cos my mate is a "commercial" grower and he managed to femm the seeds..ive used this strain for3 years now..(its bagseed X kush) i water when the soil is dry for about an inch down. im not usin nutes at the moment cos im using organic compost. got enough fert for 4 weeks...i made sure i put them in regualr soil when they were young cos i knew they wouldnt be able to handle the ferts...in the regular soil i found lots of worm larvae which i thought was probably the problem. i threw out all the soil( i had to repot anyway) (the regular soil had been hangin around in my garden for a while so...) then i VERY carefully took all the soil from the roots and replanted them into the new organic compost stuff...i didnt tear any roots and i made sure the stem was well supported..i got a heater on in the shed..at a constant level..and its got a thermostat and i managed to rig it so it will stop at 79 degrees f and start again at 76degrees f so its always about 78 degrees f (i got a thermometer on the clock in there) it gets pretty humid in there but i got a beefy desk-fan constantly blowin on the plants to decrease humidity on their stomata(but maintain the temperature). i am keeping the NL plants in the same conditions in the same soil and their doin just fine.(see my thread in absolout beginners: extra tips for semi-seasoned grower) i WAS thinking actually..maybe i have solved the problem but i need to wait a few days to notice effects?? i only repotted them yesterday......... but you know its not nice when your babies are unhealthy. you end up checking on them loads and gettin frustrated. MAYBE they are ok but they need to recover from re-pot stress..but i dunno...if this was the case they wouldnt be getting worse would they?? anyway i hope ive given enough details for someone to help me.

  5. Hopefully, they will be. Do you happen to know the pH of the soil or Water you're using? It doesnt look like lockout, but you never know. How humid was it when the plants started to wither?
Sometimes, if it's TOO humid, the plants can't evaporate it's wastes from the leaves. These wastes build up and poison the plant. It will aslo develop wider leaves to try and compensate with more surface area. More surface area + same amount of waste = evaporation is faster.

If the air is too humid, nothing will evaporate, even in the heat. That's not a common problem, but if the humidity was high, it could be the culprit.

I killed 2 of mine earlier this week by spraying them down with water. THAT's a mistake. I'm trying to grow Salvia too. Salvia plants LOVE this, MJ hates it.

I hope the plants do well in their new pots. It seems when people repot that a lot of the problems go away. So Good Luck!

  6. thanx...i tested the ph and the soil ph was like 6.5..and the water down here well....i always use it so... one of the plants has gotten worse and i dont think its gonna make it..but the other two are hanging on.. so fingers crossed for the next couple of days!! im off to rip a bowl now.. thanx alot for all your efforts...much appreciated man.. and ill keep you posted if youd like?

  7. Yes let me know how those plants do. The pH @ 6.5 is good. Did you test the water pH? When you repot, you could use a rooting hormone to help reduce the shock of transplant. SuperThrive works great for this.
