Over the past months I have been afforded to learn a lot of things when it comes to breaking new ground. Transforming experiences and inspiration into reality comes with a lot of challenges. In a litigious society we have to take some key steps to make sure everyone is safe. After my meeting with Steve pace I have developed a plan for the future. As soon as possible I will incorporate as an LLC, or a non-profit (name already reserved). I will seek para legal advise on creating a clear business plan that clearly defines my role and mission. I will explain that I am just the organizer, connecting the families with schools in their community who have established liability policies that are appropriate to the project.
I have yet to find proper faculty sponsorship. I have had the opportunity to expose the project many members of the faculty and talk with some of them for the first time. I have many teachers and staff support and am gaining support of many faculty everyone has been very eager to help. I have been lead to Courtney Osterfelt who has opened a youth center in town and may serve to be a very positive allay in the early stages of the program.
I see in the future The Dream Big Youth program will have proper legal team with insurance equivalent to adventure education schools and/or outdoor rehab facilities. Overall

After my meeting with Steve Pace I have developed a plan for the future. As soon as possible I will incorporate as an LLC, or a non-profit (name already reserved). somethings going to happen just gotta figure a few things out.
