I dabble with electricity from time to time. A couple days ago I got a decent eye opener about complacency. I was working with some hot wires and received a good jolt. My wedding band grounded me out. I now have burn marks all the way around my ring finger, the worst being a dime sized burn that goes kinda deep. In short, dont play with electricity with jewelry.
lol i have worked on a computer power supply before and i put my hand on the bottom to hold it and made contacts on a transformer in it and it sat me on my ass pretty quick
no shit lol. i was soldering up a lipo (lithium polymer if you didn't know) packs for my heli and well, my ring done shorted out the two banks of cells. my whole finger is burnt and my ring is ruined. it fucking sucks too, i got that ring at ozfest '96 and have had it on my finger since then.
