Is it safe to attach the bowl to the stem w/ electrical tape? also my metal stem has paint on the outside. is the safe?
I mean... it is definitely not safe... because bowls get pretty hot, and can melt the tape. In a pinch I've made some water bottle bubblers before and usually always use duct tape or electrical tape to attach a sodacan-bowl i make. every single time i smoked one of these tough the bowl started melting the tape. The tape and paint on the stem your talking about will release harmful chemicals when heated. It's bad- but you gotta do what you gotta do.
