If you like recessions sure vote another Republican into office. the last two did, and I expect it to fall in the crapper again after DJT gets done with it. Luckily Obama got us up out of the ditch and back into a great economy and we are still going off it. But I fear not for much longer donny's running us right back in the ditch.

Kennedy imo ( and im an 80s kid!)....seemed like once they popped him it was a free for all for the military industrial machine to fire up in Vietnam and the machine hasn't slowed down yet. And that machine is also fueled by drug war... And don't try to act like Obama was some great Saint when it came to cannabis just because he made some douchey memo that wasn't really upheld very much. I mean let's be honest Jeff sessions came in and rescinded it. But do things really look any different to anybody anywhere since he did?? Or did the news just tell you they were bad? Not to mention the the amount of illegal and unconstitutional surveillance of US citizens that started under the Bush Administration actually increased under Obamas administration.
It's silly to elect a president thinking he's going to end prohibition. There are much more pressing issues to consider than legalizing cannabis. On my priority list legal pot is about.....well, it's not even on my priority list. Legal weed wouldn't change my life even a little although of course I think it should be legal along with the rest of the illegal drugs. It's none of my government's business what drug I choose to enjoy and drug prohibition is what is causing most of the overdose deaths along with so much crime. A junkie could supply his needs for about $5 a day if it was legal and it would be clean safe drugs. Vox clamantis in deserto.
Yes your exactly right since the great hope Obama promised he would do it and he didn't. Shocking i know he was more concerned with screwing everyone's health care up. There is no easy solution thats for sure. If both Party's could come up with reasonable candidates that might help. There also needs to be someone who can bridge the gap and get both sides to work together instead of against each other even though they are all on the same team really.

Will never vote for someone just because they wants to push for legalization. One way or the other, cannabis is around. And I trust a politician as far as I can throw them.
