As an Elder Scrolls player and a World of Warcraft player, I'm pretty hopeful. The people working on it have proven their worth in developing a fantastic RPG and I think they're taking a careful but huge step into the multi-player world. It's easy to ruin any MMO, but I think they'll do a good job. Oh, and the game itself looks amazing. I can't wait to start playing.
I too play both and I think it looks pretty good don't want to hype it or anything but i'm done with generic press 1 to kill target..
I'm so excited. I'm so bored by the tradition mmo quests like kill 10 orcs/gather some shit. I feel like questing and leveling will actually be tons of fun in eso
I think a lot of the interactivity with the world from Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim is going to be lost, but I'll definitely give it a shot. I think they already said no to player housing, which really sucks I think. I stopped playing World of Warcraft a couple of months ago, and haven't really found an MMO that I want to play. Can't wait for this to be released!
Either way I'm gonna play it, I'm sure it will be cool tho Its not even a Bethesda project so that should make it interesting
I really wish they would keep it Oblivion/Skyrim still but just MMO. THAT would be badass, idk why they had to go to the traditional 3rd person style.
I heard they scrapped the engine they were building it on, and started over? Hopefully it's gonna be awesome. Don't really get why they just didn't make skyrim multi-player...
Yea idk if they could do it currently, but just having 1 more player to explore with you in Skyrim would be pretty badass.
have u ever played serious MMO raiding/pvp? you pretty much scroll out as far as possible so you can see as much of the zone as possible, especially if your a healer or crowd control.
Yea. Doesn't mean they can't change that up though. The whole point is that you are that character playing. And if it were real life you cant zoom out like that. Plus you could still zoom out like you can in Skyrim. The 3rd person is part of what I didn't care for when I first started playing WoW. I'd rather have a 1st person only game.
I agree. I don't mind it in WoW, but I really did enjoy the first person view in Skyrim. With the great graphics and gameplay, it really immersed you into the game.
