effect of light on THC in ground buds

    hey guys, just wondering if light, like from a lamp or sunlight, would affect the THC level of ground up buds? and what if its in a plastic container without a lid and light is shining on it? will the weed just get dry or moldy or will the THC level be lowered or what? just curious.

    the buds would definitely get drier. As for the potency i strongly doubt it will get any higher but might actually get lower as i was told buds should be kept away in a dark cool place for optimal freshness.

    dont keep them in the light they will get dried up and lower the potency

    if its really moist bud ill let it sit out for 2 hours or so to make it easier to break up but other than that i keep it sealed and tucked away.

    Light degrades THC, and keeping it stored ground will also cause it to degrade from oxidation. You should store it in bud form and grind as needed.
