Home is such a great song.

They write some of the best music of our century, in my opinion. If you didn't know who they were, you'd swear it was from the 60's or 70's.

 

Calling them the "best of this century" is a bit overkill (I mean, they only have one record out), but they are very good.

I saw them live twice this summer, and the first show was one of the best shows I've seen. Alexander is a great performer.

I also love Ima Robot, his other band.

 

Great band. I too had the fortune of seeing them live, and yeah, Alex knows how to please a crowd. 40 Day Dream is my favorite song of theirs.

 

so fucking great. being at one of their shows is an experience you just have to experience for yourself to understand how powerful it is. Never have i seen such enthusiastic crowd participation, as well as there seemed very little barrier between the band and the crowd, we were all just having our blinds by the music and vibes together.

just get the whole album, its fantastic. i also heard them say after they wrap up this tour they want to record a follow up

 

Around early-mid '09 my Art professor would always tune into KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic every morning while we were working. I remember hearing them play a live session, instantly fell in love.

Finally saw them at outside lands this past August. Very great band.

 

I could have sworn I made a thread about them..... or maybe I only thought about doing it.

Either way, they're great. Love them.

 

Shit yeah, hopefully going to seem them again soon.
