Hi all, I’m new to GC, this will be my first grow journal with you guys. Looking forward to sharing the experience with everyone. As you can see in the title, I’ll be growing Red Dragon by Barney’s Farm. This is my first time growing RD. I planted her fem seed on 5/5/21 and flipped her to 12/12 on 7/7. I’ve taken pics I can share to get you guys caught up. It’s the beginning of week 3 so things are just getting good. Gorilla Grow tent 2x4 Scrog setup Canna coco coir medium/ Improvised Hempy bucket Optic Slim320s by Optic Led Master controller timer with automated sunset/sunrise Nutes veg Canna Coco A&B Rhizotonic Calimagic Nutes Flower Canna coco A&B Calimagic Bud Candy Big Bud Armor-Si silica Mr Fulvic 2x week Bloom city clean kelp 2x week What else.. I don’t feed heavy, staying below 900 ppm I like to use advanced Nutes for flower but giving Canna a shot under the new led. I normally flower under HPS indoor. I do a lil growing outdoor also in just my second season. I have mixed feelings about growing outdoor due to my constant worry of contaminating my indoor grow. I love clean indoor bud, but I can grow much more outdoor. I’m way off topic. Let’s upload some pics and get this party started. Feel free to ask any questions u like. Oh the bucket is coco /perlite Hempy. Bottom few inches perlite.
Led light is some of the newest tech available. The slim320s by optic led, Samsung’s LH351H Deep RED LEDs rated at 3.1 umols/J And the new Samsung LH351H Royal Blues, Paired with the Samsung White LM301H LEDs which are above 3.0 umols/J with a 2way dimmable system running 1,388 LEDs total. Can’t wait to see what she can do. Have her at 50% right now.
Heard about those. Pretty fancy lights. Did you have to purchase the touch screen controller separately or can you just run it off a phone or tablet?
Lol. Pretty fancy. It’s got uv an ir too. Lmao. It had to be bought separately. I’ll take pics tomorrow an show u how it hooks up an plugs in. Hopefully one day they’ll release a wireless unit. It is what it is for now. It’s still pretty fancy though.
Just hooks up with a data cord. You can have to different zones where you can daisy chain multiple lights in each zone. Also shows temp and humidity.
