Eat something fatty 45 minutes to an hour before eating an edible. According to medical studies, this primes the stomach so it is "looking" for fats (like the canna-oil in the edible).

Make your own and use Lecithin. This acts to improve bioavailability and at least for me makes the edible hit like a sledgehammer day after day.

Kief-Hash 1 drop = 3mg

It really sucks.

 

Experiment smoking some flower. If you get high, its bad product. If not due to down regulation, you probably changed your CB-1 synaptic receptors so much from consuming in the past that you are always mellow. If not less likely, your tolerance is high.
