Edibles and CBD Oil

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by justinmorris, Apr 15, 2017.

  1. Two months ago I suffered a severe concussion I have been to 4 doctors and had multiple cat scans and the only conclusion is that I might have to take a year or more until life returns to normal. I have been researching the effects of CBD Oil on post-concussion syndrome and it sounds like CBD Oil could be the answer that the doctors are not giving me.

I have only tried marijuana a couple of times in the form of edible cookies (it was awesome) I have a friend with an unlimited supply of high-grade edibles. My question is would these cookies offer the same effects as CBD oil? Does all marijuana contain CBD Oil? As I try to find high-quality CBD Oil it seems expensive. Thank you for any suggestions I need to get my life back after this accident.

  2. I am no expert but I am happy to answer from my experience.

Probably not. The cookies might still be helpful though and definitely worth trying.
I think that most marijuana contains some CBD but the amounts are generally very small since most growers focus on increasing the amount of THC. You would have to find a strain that was grown specifically for CBD to get any reasonable amount of it. CBD oil is expensive in my experience also. I bought some to try and didn't really like it. I feel really strange on it which may just be because I am not used to it, and I get really dehydrated on it. I know a lot of people swear by it, so it is also probably worth trying for you. Good luck man, I hope your recovery is smooth and fast.

  3. CBD oil now very popular in the world, CBD is taken from marijuana plants, when I started to use CBD oil I found it's helping me with lots of problems before I started to use CBD I took medical medicaments which did very bad on my mind, very happy to find CBD it's better than pills

  4. disclaimer - not a scientist nor expert-specialist
My opinion : doctors working hand-in-hand with labs and pharmacies : all this industry do not want their patients to know that THC / CBD / Cannabis CAN be an alternative to their chemical drugs. Because that would make the pharmaceutical industry lose massive money, and those b4st4rd want to keep it that way, health is NOT their main priority.:devilish::mad2::mad2:

With edibles, you will most probably get "high" or "stoned" after x minutes (or hours sometimes ) ( depending on how much you ingest ) if those edibles have THC in it. Put simply, it has an effect on your brain and on your body.

CBD instead would most probably help your physique much better. It won't get you high, you will be able to think / focus and such, but the CBD will make your body relax among other things. ( lots of info online about this ).

Yes CBD is still freakin' expensive though, hopefully prices will decrease pretty quickly in 2020 ( ? ) I want to switch to CBD oil more , and just get THC once-in-a-while. But yea price is a factor...<_<

Good luck and I hope it works out, get well.;)

  5. Yes, CBD is expensive. I could not afford to buy CBD oil. I make my own, it is not that difficult.
