Eczema, asthma and proper Pot treatment.

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Hashville420, May 7, 2011.

  1. Hey,

I have eczema and have found studies where they have breed mice to not have cannabinoid receptors and when they put tags on the mice they would have very bad allergic reactions to the nickel.

In the same study, they used normal mice and exposed them to an allergen like poison ivy. When they had applied THC to the site after the allergen had been exposed the inflammation was far lessoned. And the sites when tested without the THC addition were shown to have an accelerated level antimide (the THC our bodies make, the reason we have THC brain receptors).

I have found my symptoms less severe when smoking, even for my asthma. The mucus that constricts my airway breaks up easier and is coughed up. But my eczema has always been very red and noticeable/embarrassing.

I believe that a THC cream or lotion would help me.

I am going to start vaporizing for my lungs, and using the vapoo for a tincture my question is, if i mix it with my normal lotion/cream would you think it would work better? Or how do i make my own lotions and creams? Or should i extract pure THC from the tincture and apply that... just wondering, if i had great success, it would be noticeable so i would be far less red all the time in problem areas (arm joints, neck, face) , i could then probably come out to my parents that i smoke for recreational, and use the bi product for medical purposes. And that would be awesome.

They are all very conservative and live in states that do not allow medical marijuana and convict harshly for them. I want very badly to be honest about my use... but not growing it

    Would appreciate thoughts!!

  2. I smoke A LOT and still have bad excema and break outs...I've used topical cannabis lotion and noticed no changes in my skin.

  4. I knew there was good research and I thank you much for the list.

I'm sorry you haven't found relief highchick. Have your symptoms dissipated, have you had your whole life?

  5. I've had excema since I was around five, and had acne from 12-16 and now again since I was around 20, I'm 22 now.

My body has always been resistant to medications, however, both homeopathic and western medicine, so perhaps you will experience more relief than I.

Best of luck to you!

  6. I'm sure it varies product to product and person to person. My girlfriend that has eczema really bad on her arms. The topical lotion that I have works wonders for her. Maybe you should try a different kind.

  7. What is the name of the lotion that she uses?

Have you been tested for celiac disease? Also, have they checked your serum zinc levels. My wife suffers from a zinc malabsorption issue which can lead to rashes and severe acne. Both are simple blood tests, often missed, and the latter would be unaffected by medical cannabis.

I've seen some amazing results with infused coconut oil and atopic dermatitis.

  9. She has used multiple lotions from different vendors. She said she doesnt really have a preference and most of the ones she's used works wonders for her. Currently, she has a bottle of ganja juice medicated lotion.

  10. I actually have. Both my gram and aunt have it, and I have a bit of a low tolerance to wheat and gluten, but the test comes up negative for some reason :confused_2:

  11. I have had severe eczema but never had severe or bad acne, nothing more than one big zit at a time when i was young, i'm in my twenties now. When i finish my current crop, i will tincture the bi-product and attempt to stir into my Eucerin and see if there is any affect.

I have been tested for allergies and have none that i know of. I have later been told that i should avoid dairy and eggs, but that is far easier said than done.

My state is nowhere near medical mj, i will have to bootleg this stuff, which my state is also known for.
