My first experience growing is going pretty well, so I am trying to do some reasearch into equipment into my next grow. First time around I did the whole DIY thing. I could again, but....been there done that, now I want to try a pre made system. I was looking into the following: GENERAL HYDROPONICS ECO GROWER Seems just right for a 4-6 plant grow in a small area. I am not a commercial grower. This is all for personal use and to spread cheer around. Anyone have any experience with the Eco Grower, and if so, does it work well?
I just started my first grow and I chose the EcoGrower for my setup and so far I couldn't be more pleased! I documented my setup and progress thus far in my grow journal if you want to check it out or if you have specific questions just let me know!
Im going through your journal now. Looks good so far. Do you think this system can handle 4 plants, and if so, what size rez are you thinking is necessary. My DIY BB right now has one big plant in it (6 feet). The 4 gallon bucket is almost completely invaded with roots, so Im a little concerned about a multi plant setup like this one. Im thinking about doing LST as opposed to ScROG, but in general its the same idea.
Thanks dissident! I think the system could probably handle 4 plants but that might be it. I read another journal where a guy had 6 plants in his and it was definitely very cramped although he said more from the canopy perspective than the roots. My plan was to go with 2-4 plants per grow, using the ScrOG to maximize my yield and grow room height. (I only have about 46 inches total for plant height so I won't be having no 6ft monsters )
Good deal, I think I'll go with 4 plants with this setup. I buy seeds from Sannies, and they send freebies with every order. Im thinkin.....2 normal seeds, 1 feminized and one of the feminized untested hybrids they sent me. Add a little mystery and excitement to the grow.
