What EC is good for mother plants? I use CNS17 Grow with Cal-Mag at a 4 to 1 ratio... 4 parts Grow and 1 part Cal-Mag then dilute to desired ppm/ EC level. Also every other feeding will be half strength. So probably around 1.5 EC then .75 EC then repeat...
Whatever keeps them happy mate, it's as simple as that. Keep your mum small, then when it's time for cuts, bring her to life with a pot up and a bigger light and then take that fresh strong growth. 1.5 sounds high to me, I hardly ever go much over 1.2 myself. Any pictures of her?
Yep gotta agree..I keep my mums(thought you'd like that TW) at ~1.2-1.4 EC(.5) max. Glad to have you back TW..
Here are some pics, took a while to get them on the computer. I've been dealing with a gnat infestation, check out the leaves. Strain is Critical Kush, the 2 large moms are from seed. The smaller plant is a first generation clone, her mom is in bloom with 7 others but she smells outta sight already.
