I have the infamous JJ style DIY 5 gallon ebb and flow bucket system. I want to convert to coco now. My idea is....fill the buckets with hydroton until the water line during fill. The get a smart pot that fits into the top of that bucket (maybe with a wick). I would top feed the pots with minimal run off and flood and drain a few times per day for water, maybe extra nutrients. Essentially convert it to an octopot Any thoughts?? Will this work?
I am think of do the same thing fill cloth bags with coco and flooding twice a day I just got a meaga garden I have been thinking about it for a week now trying to find someone how has done it all ready to see if it work out
