  1. okay so you guys convinced me that the ebb and flow flood table was the way to go for a first time hydro grower. my question is, ive been looking for them through e bay and hydroponic store websites, but there are so many i dont know which 1 would be ideal. like i said i have a brand spankin new 1000 watt hps light, lots of room to grow, ceiling, length and width. which tables do you guys recommend for this type of lighting and space. i was thinking maybe i can make the growroom 8 x 8 using mylar to make the dimensions. im looking to put as many plants under that hps as i can so plz help out, all i need is that and im good to go! =D thanks guys once again!

  2. Well to fill a 8x8 space you would need to buy three more lights.. I would recommend using one thousand watter to one 4x4 flood table.. The white ones made by botanicare... It works well with the 40 gallon res.. The stand that I use is just four centerblocks with a 2x8 cut in half stretching across them, the res fits right under with a few inches clearance and it's cheap and easy.. :) But ya dude.. don't try to light too much space with that light.. you'll have airy, stretched out plants.. Bring it down on a 4x4 maybe 5x5 space and you'll do much better.. And FILL the canopy up.. FULL... :)

  3. thanks for your reply.

i figured a 1000 watter would fill more than 4x4 space but you know better than i. i just got my 1000 watter in the mail today, so ill definatly take ur advice! thanks once again.

  4. By the way, that is all I do, is flood tables with 1000w'trs over them, so if you have any Q's along the way, I may be able to help..

u know what 8x8 with one 1000 is good enough. get a light rail and screw to the ceiling and attach the 1000 hopefully u have an exhaust fan cus u gonna need it and a 3x6 flood table n ur good to go. i have something similar but with 3 3x6 w/ 1000 going back and forth getting about 3lbs 6 to 8 weeks
u haven't even gotten to the hard part.lol

  6. i am using an ebb-n-flow 4'x6' using a 1000watt HPS doing a SOG and i put 9 plants in there, and i am getting very good results, your best bet is to find your strongest, best mother plant you have and take clones, when your clones get about 10"-12" tall put them into 12-12 to bud them out and when your baby's are finished, they should be about 24"-28" tall and pretty much one main cola,im doing this at my buddies house and our first harvest, we got about 3 to 3 1/2 oz per plant very nice yield i think:cool:. we got about a pound apiece, i am doing this for med reasons i suffer from cronic back pain from a car accident, don't want to be a pill junkie, rather be a pot head .we are going to try and fit 12 in this time around,we want to shoot for 3 lbs for the next 1, I told my friend it probably would be a little under that, i am figuring around 2.5lbs.so good luck i love flood tables they are pretty easy to work with.

  7. We are setting up a light and need a new light rail--any suggestions for the best pricing?

  8. yes seen your post and your previous experience. Im in the middel of transitioning from an ebb and grow system to to four by four flood tables under two thousand watts in a "CGE" WITH COMPLETE CONTROL. I know there are alot of factors in growing but what do you usually obtain per four by four packed with plants ?

  9. When you say fill the canopy up do u mean pack in the plants ?lol
