ebay pollen press?

    bumpp

    i need a quick answer, because i dont want someone to say
    "if you buy a low quality press, metal pieces may break off and youll smoke thoes with your trichromes"

    and then me wonder what to do with a already cashed nugg in my bowl.

    Looks legit and it's made out of anodized aluminum which is what aluminum pipes are made out of and it's safe to smoke out of so it's prb safe to press with. I don't think metal pieces will break off and I mean you're gonna have pressed kief so it's not like you're gonna be burning down pounds of it or something.

    thanks. i was hoping someone would say that. but any amount of burning metal in your lungs is enough, and someone told me they bought a press on Canal street, and when they used it the first time, a small metal shaving got in there, so i just wanna be careful.
    plus this beats spending another 30 on a spacecase brand pollen press.

    well they dont exactly clean and polish the things after getting drilled out... so there's always some metal dust and possible shavings. It goes without saying that you should clean ANY piece before smoking through it...

    clean the press before using it and youll be fine.

    Along with cleaning it (washing), taking some 220+ grit sandpaper to the sharp (outer) edge of the threads to ensure there are no slivers and thread/unthread multiple times to clear any. But make sure there aren't any shavings in the threads before threading together.

    I've bought a grinder from hippykid23 and it was sick, cheap, sent out fast and quality. I was also thinking about getting that press too. If you get it lemme know how it works out.

    I have that exact press. Hippiekid is a life saver. Same press, same seller. I got a wooden grinder from him too.

    Go for it. His shit is cheap and hasn't steered me wrong yet...

    ive been reading these forums and some people are heating up there presses while pressing to make it gummier i suppose? well i noticed the 2 black press pieces (i dont know what they're called) are made of plastic...prob not a good idea to warm up is it? and how would they warm up the press without burning the finish?

    sorry i'm a stoner...long questions...hahaha any response is appreciated! peace!

    I got a press a couple weeks ago, but i havnt been able to save enough kief for it to be worth it, i just take a scoop of kief and put it on top of a bowl of weed.

    BUT, i pressed a little bit and i think it would work pretty well if you had a lot.

    And yes, heating it is a good idea, just press the kief and let the thing sit over night in front of your vent or something, not like on the stove.
