easy ryder seedlings under a 600W HPS?

    hi, i have a 3'x3'x4' cabinet that i will be growing in, i plan on having 16 easy ryders in 2 gallon pots. but i have a question.. will freshly germinated seeds be ok under a 600w hps?? how far should i keep the light above them? my cab is 4' remember, im using a euro air cooled hood with a 190cfm inline blower

    unless youre already flowering thats a waste of electricity. i'd start to seed with flouro's.

    what do u mean it would be a waste of electricity? how many cfl's would i need for 16 seeds in 2gal pots? how long untill i can put them under the hps?
    im lost.. :/

    I usually but them under as soon as the seed case falls off. Works out fine for me.
