Easy Ryder/Diesel Ryder, Purple lady, Red Dragon Closet Grow

    hey man, just checking out your grow im sub'd
    about the nutes when you do start using them just go by the recommended doses.
    it really depends on the nutes you have.

    most are like 25 ml for clones then 50ml for veg and 50-100 ml for flowering.
    but thats very broad apllications.
    i would still check with the company you bought them from.

    who'd you use

    im not worried about dosing the plants, it says that right on the bottle. but combining nutes. specifically flora nova grow, b'cuzz root stimulant and FF big bloom. if i mix them all will i get too much of one nutrient? should i just mix them all into one gallon or spread it out within 3 or 4 waterings? how do you go about doing that?

    well first of all read the label before, if it doesnt say anything about NOT adding those together then its fine.
    Follow doasge instructions. adding to much nutes can change the chemical balance of the soil or lock in other nutes making them unavailable to the plant

    So... I'm upset. Well, thats an understatement. I decided that the the white dwarf and red dwarf were long overdue to sprout to i went digging through the soil to try and find signs of life but I found none, I acutally found the seeds burried in the soil with NO taproot. I know i didn't break them off becuase i was so gentle when i was looking for them (i removed the dirt piece by piece). But the seeds are like a gray color with nothing attached. I assume they are just dead. SWEET! So basically I have 7 plants, 3 feminized and 4 gamblers. I'm going to throw the rest of the diesels into germination tonight becuase i really would like to see a male and a female so i can get some seeds along with my goodies. I'm not really diggin this 50% suceess rate (assuming all the plants that didn't sprout are all dead). Oh well, here are pics of the plants that are loving life (easyryder espeically). I had to pull the seed coat off of the purple lady because she had been struggling with it for two days so i just helped her out a bit. One of the deisels is really stretched but it still looks alright. enjoy!

    Sorry prob already mentioned I'm germinating two as we speak one is in soil. How many watts are those under. I'm afraid I need to get more mines only on a 20 cfl but I went to home depot and they don't have shit I guess I need to go to an actual lighting store :/

    Ok so i took them all out to check for new sprouts in all the cups and no new ones. But my DNA LA WOMAN was done germing so i put it in the cup the utopia haze was in. I took out hte Utopia haze seed and it was all brown and looked liek it was on its way out. WHY ARE MY SEEDS DYING ONCE I MOVE THEM INTO CUPS!? is it the light? i dont know. anyway. I have seven plants and 8 cups with germinated seeds in them. So we'll see.

    No I am growing a GHS white rhino and Arjans haze #1. Bought a 5 pack of each and, well long story short they all got destroyed except for the last ones, those I am cloning to try and get a decent pull out of my investment. Ah heck I have time here is the long story, first ones, kid was curious and poked his finger through the plastic wrap covering my germing seeds just as they were popping out and killed them. Second ones I almost killed by screwing up my soil majorly, misread some advise and almost lost them, but managed to get a little in the end, third set never germinated, figured I screwed that up somehow too. The fourth rolled out of the packet and into no mans land under the patio never to be seen again. So here I am with my last two seeds out of 10, so far everything is going much better, 4 growing clones from one and two from the other with me just waiting to take another two in maybe a few days once the first too are rooted well.


    Yup still around :) . Well I guess I will be the guinea pig, next feeding time in around a week I'll try and mix them together. Will probably do half strength though just to see what happens. I was going to follow the modified Lucas formula with the floranova ie 8 ml per gal, maybe I'll keep it at that and add 2 tbsp of BB and see what happens. Shouldn't be too terrible cause their not chemical or anything so it shouldn't kill it. I'll be sure to report back.

    Just throwing it out there, but are you waiting for too long to plant them in soil? I have also heard that sometimes the fragile tap roots little fibers can get stuck in the paper and when you take it out some of the micro roots that you cant see are left behind and that damages the root enough to kill it. Personally I always plant them as soon as I see a little bit of white sticking out of the seed, I have had 100% except for the two that I lost that I posted above... but I think that was because I used a peat pellet, never used one before and wont again.

    Anyway, hope you get it figured out, I'm looking forward to seeing your results. I'll think of posting some pictures of mine up once I get something interesting going. Pretty boring right now with just 6 tiny clones and one mom in the first week of flowering.

    hey thanks a lot for the advice +rep. i would agree with your idea of ripping off the micro roots but i was using coffee filters which are supposed to prevent that from happening. oh well. I'm over it. I mean, i do have seven plants with 5 more in germination so ... hopefully i just get a male and female deisel and never have to order seeds again; this won't even be an issue. i'll post a picture update in a little bit here after I repost up my mylar (it came off the wall for some reason, lol)

    Ok, so strangest thing. The utopia haze seed was gray and the taproot was GONE off of the seed when I pulled it out of the soil, but i didn't give up hope, i put it back in the coffee filters and IT SPROUTED ANOTHER TAPROOT. So I have 10 seeds waiting to sprout, including some DNA seeds, Utopia haze, and a bunch of dieselryders. AND I got a sprout from another deisel today. I'm pretty sure the light was just frying the small little roots THROUGH THE SOIL, so now that the cups of dirt and seeds are in the dark they seem to be growing ok, just gotta wait for them to pop. I've got a total of 1o seeds in germ and 8 sprouts so i'll have to scrap three when the time comes in order to stay within the legal limit. only time shall tell which ones though.

    also, i watered all the sprouts yesterday with a 1/8th concentration of the B'cuzz root stimulant, I know it was soon but i couldn't help myself. But i sure am glad i did. SIGNIFICANT growth on the easy ryder plant, and new leaf sets for almost all plants that got watereed, check it out!

    So, just realized that the legal limit of plants is 15 so i chucked out two diesel ryders. lame but had to be done.

    just got a really sketchy message. Just a reminder to everyone this grow is perfectly legal and I have nothing illegal around the grow or in the grow house. I am growing this medically for a friend and I have the paperwork to prove it. I have no intention of using his medicine nor do I even smoke at all. :wave:

    Update time. I got two new sprouts and they are now under the light , for a total of 10 plants. I taped some extra mylar i had around the edge of the light and the plant are loving it. :hello:. i can peek in on these plants every couple hours and see new growth. espeically in the easyryder. anyway.

    the red dwarf sprout pictured above completely died last night. i came in to look at it and it was just completely dried up and shriveled. I have 9 plants right now

    Red Dragon

    Purple Lady

    Easyryder

    DeiselRyder X 6

    However

    The Utopia Haze

    La Woman

    and 3 more Dieselryders are due to sprout in the next 48 hours so i'll have 12 plants total.

    Bummer, I was curious to see what that would have looked like. Just lack of water you figure?

    On the other hand with the luck you had with that one seed sprouting a new root, maybe you should just spray it and watch it come back to life:)
