So I figured I'll share my quesadilla recipe with you guys. I'm not claiming I invented this because it's a straight forward thing to make. This is just my way of making them. Items needed: -Tortillas (any size. Obviously the bigger the tortilla the bigger the quesadilla) -Boneless chicken breast (or the canned chicken salad stuff. I just like to be healthy) -Shredded cheese (I buy these bags of shredded cheddar and I think montary jack and stuff) -Fresh tomato (optional) -Hot sauce (not optional) -Pan big enough to fit the tortilla Instructions: 1. Put the pan on the stove on a medium to low heat. 2. Take a paper towel and put some olive oil on it. 3. Wipe the pan with the olive oil to prevent sticking. You don't need a lot. 4. Put the tortilla in the pan. 5. While the tortilla is warming up slice up the chicken into smaller chunks. 6. Put the chicken into a smaller frying pan on high heat with some salt and pepper and cook it. It should only take a few minutes. 7. Pour the chicken onto one half of the tortilla. 8. Turn up the heat a bit on the tortilla and cover the chicken with as much cheese as you want. 9. If you want to put tomato then slice one up and put it on top of the cheese. 10. Pour hot sauce over everything. 11. Fold the other half of the tortilla over and press it down with a spatula. 12. Let it cook for a minute and then flip it over. 13. Let it cook for another minute and plop it into a plate. 14. Add more hot sauce to dip in and eat that shit. Total time from start to end to make this should be 10-15 minutes. It is actually fairly healthy if you use fresh ingredients and whole wheat/spinach tortillas. They are also tasty as hell. Enjoy!
I usually get some boneless skinless chicken breast. Cook up the chicken, when its done throw in some salsa and then dump that mixture into a tortilla shell with some sour cream and cheese. so good.
