growing my trees organically Multi strain, PeyotePurp, fine KB purps with really dank kushes 1000w Aurora soil and one cup per three Aurora of ewc's been rooting around though transplants & aero trek'n like a red shirt till I was bumb'd uP to organics. My purpPeyote was in light warrior loved it (seeding mix awesome stuff'), then went to black gold then ocean forest. Been a lot of transplants. I was lead to Aurora's soil by my local hydro guy. He mixes 20% ewc's, that's it. Really cool company, epic amounts of stuff by them. took the root organics and mixed in ewc's a cup per 3 Aurora . . . the plants responded with perky goodness in about 20 min after transplanting ***current grow history*** original non organic thread 1000w Pey¥oePurp seedling thread Seedling 24hr's or 18/6?
Welcome to Organics! Are you going to try to mix your own soil from scratch while the babes are vegging?
Howdy' thank's for ushering me in d; I'd like too' might now that you mentioned it. maybe the transplant after next when they're a bit bigger........ I've seeing mixes around, but was turned to the soil I have because the guy at the hydro shop I go to uses it with 20% ewc's and that's literally it and loves it. He was probably thinking simplicity would be best for me because it's my first good grow and I've been messing up left and right lol First time I started with 50 seeds and one lived on micro grow well lolz... I'm good now though' I was adjusting my high pH before but was just told the water here is great' and just water straight and I'd be fine because the soil is a little acidy and adjusts the pH within spec. I would love to get into really good mixes though...
**10\28\2012 update her'** moved my plants back in the room tody and took out the 1000w. It's killing me not being able to use it :/ rawrz. 1000w vhott lol... produces some epicly fattasic leaves, but for right now it's just too darn hott. in a few weeks when I have time to build the room in a bit and make proper boxes I'll use it again XD I watered them the other day with a 1.5-2 TBS of mexican bat guano in a gallon, they all loved it'! I saw epic growth with teh little ones that just started the other day. They're loving life and taking off l1k3 b41100n5 t0 sp4c3!
.'] TYTY! maybe you were thinking it twice' thanks doood! they're doing GREAT! The bat guano is what did it' I was watering them with guano but it had 8% calcium in it with other stuff (nitrates). I bought it and didn't look at it too much (oddly enough). Had a huge N on the bottle and was bat guano + thought I couldn't go wrong..({Aurora N supplement}was too excited seeing that huge N on it rawrz) used it a little, ended up being meh, has as much calcium as Nitrogen both 8%.. Plus reading the bottle actually it says "synthetic" so it has bat guano being what I wanted lol and other "stuff" (calcium and a few nitrates) I'm really stoked I switch back to the mexican bat guano' the plants are really happy! the MBG = epicness organicness Nitro and they TOOK OFF! lol The little ones grew an inch+.5~ a day with the light a little higher lol.. Teh Growth's been fkn rageus! (should have been taking pics along the way but been really busy RAWRZ it's been UNREAL UTIII status
Thanx Jmosley' Welcome to m3 grow! anyt1m3 you want a a sky box l3t m3 kn0w I'll hook it up HD! I should start vid's
guano is considered fast acting in the organic world. FWIW, I much prefer the guano which is pulverized into fine stuff rather than the stuff which is pelletized. Got any worm castings?
ah very cool (I was thinking about using hot water to make a solution) Most deff on the worm castings' ;P 1EMC to 3 Aurora ratios ruffed out about (literally) one bag of each funnily enough, I need more EMC's! *the bag of FFocean-forest was empty
Little ones bottom left around 11pm 10\28\2012 lowest one was about an inch under top of the container, been adding as much soil as I can erre day but just ran out of container lol need to transplant them and get more medium *11pm 10\28\2012 **currently @ 7am 11\1\2012 few days later after growing literally an inch+ a day...
careful not to overwater (keep the soil too moist). If you see the leafs starting to droop, it's not from lack of water, if the soil is moist. If the soil is bone dry that is something else. Do you have one of those cheapo $5 soil moisture meters? They are kill, otherwise you are just guessing what the moisture content of the soil is. more perlite or pistachoe shells or rice husks. soil mix is pretty dense from the picture. I run about 50% perlite (similar).
ok cool dude thx!! I'll add those to the list next transplant' I've been watching the soil moisture by tooth picks and weight for the time being it's been working ok, I would love a number'
For what it's worth dept. I keep my soil to the dry side... I figgure I can always add, but it is darn hard to take out the excess.
Looking real good man. I'll ride along too. I picked up some high N bat poop last week cuz my other bird poop was all P. I'm already noticing green up as well. Keep those picts coming!
