The wood came from a little paint brush which I drilled a few holes into. Connected the bowl to the wood with a pen top. Dropped a screen in the bowl and its ready to go.
just be careful when you use anything that was designed to look good (pens, screens etc.) as opposed to things that are made just to function (like the ratchet bit youre using for the bowl). things that look good usually have polymer coatings on the metal to keep them shiny. just scrape it with a knife or something and if you see a clear/white layer come off then trash it. this is just general advice, not necessarily specific to the piece you have here. have fun!
