I have 5 plants (northern lights) running 16/8. three of the plants have turned. I thought this was impossible. I'm not ready. Have I done something to cause this?
Are you sure? Want to post pictures just to verify? How long have you been vegging? Personally I don't like to give my plants any less than 18 hours of light, but 16 hours should not make them show sex. Hmmm.
unfortunatly yes I am sure. I had no choice, one is flowering the other has not shown yet so I'm good there SO FAR. The 3 males are long gone. The female that has budded early is in its 1st month today. I don't have a camera, I may try to borrow one. It seems a necessity here so others can relate. Is there a cause???
Are you sure of the strain? Could it possibly have some type of ruderalis in the mix? Are you sure of the light schedule? (Do you have a timer?) <-- Have to ask. Were these clones? Has the one that is under a month old developed alternating nodes yet? I can't think of any triggers off of the top of my head other than light cycle. Very strange.
definitely sounds like an auto strain. I just find it odd it'd go into flowering with a 18/6 light schedule.
Based on what? They are not on a flowering light cycle right now either. You have to know the root of the problem before you can solve it. My vote is still for have some autoflower mixed in the strain.
I only know what I ordered. Can't sy I would recognize one strain from another. I do have a timer and always verify lights out/on. Not clones, straight from a seed from BBud. The last one is still unkown????? What is a ruderalis?
