earliest flowering?

  1. does it matter when you force a plant to start flowering? like does it matter when you start to change the lighting schedule to 12/12, would after 3-4 weeks work?

  2. Well it's not that easy. When you flower your plant, it's up to you. First of all, you need to have pre-flowers (male has ball clusters at nodes, females have calyxes with white pistils at nodes) so you can sex your plants. After you know what you want to flower (male for seeds, female for buds), you can flower when a plant is close to 1ft. or as tall or big as you want. You just need to take into consideration plants usually ~double in size and fill out in flowering--so you need to flower at the right time to accommodate your growing area effectively (IE - don't flower too late and run into height problems).
