We've got a pair of enormous eagles out here. I watch the skies anytime I take my chihuahua outside... Laugh if you want to, but it's a real possibility.
HOLY SHIT! That was a big ass bird! LOLOL! Where I used to live in Cali, they had special warnings for when it got real windy. They called them small dog warnings... Basically, any small dogs/cats/whatever, if left outside, would get blown away.
