Each weed trip presents me with ONE revelation

  1. Hey,

Every time I get high I honestly experience a profound "trip" that teaches me something. They're normally fraught with anxiety initially, but after I ride out the first 45 mins (which comes with breathing issues/intense derealization), I enter a thought loop and one particular idea/concept will come to me in a very lucid way.

Last thing I came up with = "when you're sober, your negative thoughts are directly above you in a cloud, and they're mixed in with all your positive thoughts. You can't leave your earthly position, so you remain engaged with reality at all times and don't get "carried away" into your thoughts and dreams (you're sober, after all). If you think about something positive, you're forced to be realistic and see the negative thoughts too, because all your thoughts are amalgamated in the cloud".

When you're high, you're still in the same, grounded position, but your positive thoughts are to your left on the floor with you and your negative thoughts are to your right. <span class="redactor-invisible-space">This means that all thoughts are more accessible when you're high (they're the same ground level as you), and you can focus on them in a clearer, more detailed way because they're separated<span class="redactor-invisible-space">. BUT this also means that negative thoughts can seem worse than they do when you're sober. Getting caught up in a negative loop when high just means you've entered the "negative thoughts" area, and you've gone further away from your positive thoughts. More commonly, <span class="redactor-invisible-space">being euphoric when high and not thinking about anything bad means that you've entered the positive section (think a little stick figure literally walking to the left<span class="redactor-invisible-space">).</span></span></span></span>
    <span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space">
    </span></span></span></span>
<span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space">I know people think about deep stuff when they're high, but each weed experience gives me one <span class="redactor-invisible-space">idea like the above, that makes so much sense when I'm sober. Can anyone else relate to this?</span></span></span></span></span>
    <span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space">

<span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space">Also, when I come up with these "diagrams" <span class="redactor-invisible-space">I can't stop thinking about them, and find that they describe real, sober life way too well. It's cool but unnerving, and makes real life seem like a joke. If any of you are this affected by weed, how the hell does the real world interest you? Maybe the fact I'm asking shows that I'm losing my grip on reality and shouldn't smoke but who knows.

    <span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space">

<span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space">In a very weird way, I feel like being high reveals stuff that I shouldn't be seeing. I feel like I'm scraping into some truly broken down, detailed spiritual world that we wrongly see as chaotic<span class="redactor-invisible-space">, because we're desensitized and our intelligence is very limited.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span>
    <span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space">

  2. It's the same with me. I either get an philosophical or existential revelation, or new ideas for things I'm working on, and without even thinking about these things in the first place. All you have to do is sit back and it all flows in.

  3. Weed trip?

  5. Honestly, we all experience things differently and the human brain is very complicated. Most of my friends treat weed like alcohol - they smoke and just get a bit relaxed/giggly. For me, being really stoned is honestly a trip. Maybe that means I'm the kind of person who could develop schizophrenia from weed, maybe it doesn't. Who knows

If you've never had an insanely trippy experience with weed, then you won't understand it, but THC can really grab onto your brain and twist it in a way that's actually more profound/enlightening than harder psychedelics. The thought loops I get are mindblowing. Sure, I don't get lsd visuals with weed, but the experience is purely psychedelic for me in every other conventional way.

  6. Every once and a while, I'll have a very enlightening or profound thought and then I forget it lol

  7. This temporal space we inhabit has room for 1 day at a time with due deletion of previous days past. Or maybe there never was a past to begin with...[IMG]

  8. I do the same thing! When high everything becomes clear, all my problems are easy to solve. The positive thoughts just flow right through me, it's awesome. I am never able to put them to good use when I'm sober though, all the negatives are back in place then.

  9. This is the realest thing I've ever read!! When I'm high, all these ideas of why I feel negative come to my head, and it seems so easy to break through the negativity. But it's never possible when I'm sober.

  10. as i have said on a few other things, i had a bad trip and i liked it for experience

  11. Ive always liked to think of it as herb shows the mask (ego) to its face (self). I see things in a more universal way. Some see race, all I see is human. Bias thinking go hand in hand with ego. When Im lifted, reality is shifted. Nature is a profound thing that makes me feel larger than life yet staying humble. Herb makes me appreciate everything even when not lifted. Nature reacting with nature is how I see it when I toke up. A high is another pathway opening in my mind that stays open even when Im not floating. This is great because it keeps my intake minimal and not a dependence. I wish everyone could unplug and take it all in. What we got here is truly incredible. Sending positive vibes to my fellow blades. Have a good new year!

  12. I'm the exact same way, right down to the bouts of anxiety!

  13. Do you smoke sativa? How long have you been smoking and how often?

  14. make sure you write down everything too.

often I'll go back to read what I wrote and think to myself, wtf was i smoking? I need that strain again. Perhaps I should also write which strain led me to these ideas...

  15. This is why I've been looking to try a decent Sativa. One time I had a batch that would make me just flow ideas much easier, see things from an outside perspective, give character to the smallest of details in life. Ever since that batch, the only thing I can get makes me a little more nostalgic and I do think a bit deeper, but I'm too zoned out to do anything or even be bothered to write any ideas down

  16. Me especially if I'm listening to chill trap, v a p o r w a v e or anything by Casino Claims

  17. For me it's not so specific, usually when I get baked I have a lot more then just one revelation and sometimes I have none, however this is a lot more common if I smoke with my friends as oppose to getting stoned on my own.
