Dyna gro DWC

  1. I have a 5 gallon bucket (root Spa) this is hydro grow, I'm reading that I am making the mistake of not waiting 24 hours between each nutrient addition. That waiting let's it stabilize, I have the full dyna gro products line. Does anybody know the amounts of what I should be using?

  2. Start with 1/4 dose and increase each feeding until at 100%, or until plant shows nute burn. I'm still an amateur but I've never let nutes sit that long. Usually I add CalMag first to my water, but DynaGro states "add Pro-Tekt first". So jus follow that[IMG]

  3. I went with 10 ml of protekt and 30ml of foliage pro in 4 gallons of water :)

  4. That's the 3rd try and that plants fried lol I think I'm going back to soil and hydro can wait until I have better managing and math skills. And a decent ph meter, but 5.5-5.8 is not right, I think more like 6

  5. 5.5 - 6.3 is fine for hydro, but it really depended on how bad of shape they were in already. I should've asked more questions before offering advice. Pictures always help too

  6. It was just a half dead clone, not a big loss, I think it's something that takes more care than I can give at this point in time. I'm in a wheelchair, and I thought it would require less, but it turns out that it takes more.

  7. Don't let that hold you back! You still have the ability to be self sufficient in terms of medicine. Maybe jus change the approach a little after some more reading and researching. I could see where hydro becomes problematic for someone in your shoes, but I assure you it isn't any easier for the rest of us! It's a science and as such, requires non-stop trial and error.

If you go soil, I recommend some compost tea. It'll do wonders foe your roots and will help the plant grow faster and healthier than nutrients alone.

  8. I don't let anything hold me back, but when your funds are nil, and your mobility lacks to the point where you have to depend on other people, it's not a good situation.

  9. I understand. Hopefully you'll get easy access to medicine soon. Helping people is the whole reason I switched from being jus a typical stoner to working on becoming a care giver. We can only hope it gets easier from here...
