Dying Seedlings possibly too late.....

  1. Alright so i have some plants growing, i know its late in the season but i figured it all out no worries but a few of the seedlings are starting to die. Im using fox farms ocean forest soil and i transplanted the seedlings after about 5 days from inside by a window in cups with miracle grow organic to the fox farm outside. Some of them got some nute burn but a friend of mine is a grower and said they would pull through, which they have buttt. I didnt water the seedlings for like a day and a half and the stems were weak and wilted but still green and the little leaves looked fine just a lack of stem strength so i tied them up with zip ties to a stick and watered them...no some turned out like the first picture im going to give and some are like the second picture. Im about to go to the spot and get some cups and transplant them and take them inside. The problem is is im in texas and right now the temps are from 90-100 degrees and i have really good spots that get constant sunlight so i dont know if its heat or what but i dont know why some have bounce back while others havent.... Oh and btw ive been watering them with sealed bottled water and i have a big hole with about 3 plants spaced out so its not a ph problem or something in the soil from what i can tell. Heres the pics

Dieing seedling- You can see the wilted yellowing seedling at the right of the page toward the actual bottom of the stick, basically i think their gonna die. my friend that grows said that they would pull through but they've just gotten worse and i havent been able to talk to him and i wanna see if theirs some way i can revive them and not loose about 4 seedlings that look like this....

    Thanks for the help

  2. they can handel the temps outside....your mistake was you didnt acclimate the seedlings to the heat or sun

all potted plants going outdoors need to be acclimated ...a couple days in the shade
a couple days in partial sun......then full sun.....then you can after a couple days transplant into the ground.....water immediately

  3. What the fuck did you do to that poor thing?

  4. Lol^ so would it still work if i took them inside or in the shade got them stronger then acclimated them? Guess im gonna try it here in a few minutes if i dont get a response...yeah i never really realized that its just that some of the plants were able to survive while others werent and there is not just one spot i have 3 different plots with 3 plants and they all have a healthy seedling then dying ones or ones that i never got to sprout up... Yeah as well could i still somehow save a sprouted seed that never really quite made it i guess they just couldnt take the heat because once i transplanted them they never grew more.... well guess im just gonna take them out of the ground into some cups and prop them up then put them in a shady spot and keep them well watered cus i dont think i can keep them inside, if i did they would get no sunlight at all (because i live with my parents)
