DXM Lighter Fluid Question

Discussion in 'General' started by spaz316, Oct 1, 2005.

  1. I'm hoping to do some DXM extraction tonight, and I was wondering if it was okay to use "Top Crest Odorless Charcoal Lighter Fluid". If anyone has ever used it or knows please let me know if I can use it.
    Thanks

  2. I don't really know, but I'm going to bump this for you so someone who does can answer :)

  3. check erowid.

  4. Thanks found out you can't :( Can't believe I didn't look there first after I was on the site while I posted this.

  5. ok to test if you can use it, put a drop of it on a mirror, let it evaporate and if it leaves absolute NO residue it is safe to use. Always check using this method when your going to switch brand names.

  6. ^ NO dude just NO

Lighterfluid (zippo style) is a combination of petroleuim and naphtha

You need naphtha nothing more thus you have to burn off the petrol once you seperate the final time it's easy enough to get alone at any paint store....

Unless you understand the chemical reactions happening just stop go buy some tussin cough gels 300mg for 5 something in 15mg geltab form...
